2. "Might even run in to Fred and Daphne while we're inside. Hm. Daphne. Love her." Sarah Michelle Gellar needs to guest star in this show. And I need more Dean/Buffy crossovers.

5. Sam + dolls. "He always dress them up in tiny little outfits."
6. "Don't go surfing porn. It's not the kind of wacking I mean." More porn jokes! Me likes.
7. "You're bossy. And short." *giggles* "Are you drunk?" "Yeah. So? Stupid." LMAO.
8. ...and the promise and the touching and Jared's ass. I think my head just exploded.
9. How can Sam groaning and vomiting into the toilet bowl be so ridiculously sexy?
10. "Dude, you're not gonna poke her with a stick!" He can poke me!
11. Swimming pool. Not good.
12. Gosh. Sammy looks good underwater. And he saves the girl! Mirroring Dean in Dead In The Water. Another powerful scene. I love it.
13. "Seriously. I think she likes you!" Jeez. Dean's mind is really permanently in the gutter.
14. Oops! Sam remembers! Oh man, the angst.

I'm so not in my element today. Torrents suck. Beware of senseless long ramblings.

First thing, the gay jokes and the porn jokes. Kripke truly dotes on us, doesn't he?

Another thing I would love to address is how amazing the entire set is. It was really creepy and old and beautiful at the same time. It definitely gives the perfect atmosphere. Plus, all the dolls and the photographs, and that huge replica of the hotel. Gosh. I would love to own one of that. Kudos to the props department. They did a great job for this episode. So was that a real house or hotel? Gorgeous, in a creepy way.

I thought I wouldn't have much to write about in this episode, but it's amazing what a few lines of conversation can set off. The most significant scene is, of course, the one with drunken Sammy. It's painful to think of someone with such a sensitive conscience going Darth Vader on us. His line about people around him dying was heartbreaking, partially because it's true. He has truly lost a lot of people. I'm really curious as to how it would go, his transition to the other side. Maybe something to do with loss? The demon has been taking the lives of those close to him. Is that his way of getting to him? So will the ultimate loss be Dean?

Seems like Dean blames his father for this, even goes as far as to call him an "ass", which I'm sure he has never done before. In Season 1, he practically worshipped that man. But now he carries his father's huge burden and he has nowhere and on one to turn to. His little brother needs him. Only thing he could do was to find someone to blame. He probably felt abandoned by John in some way, leaving him with such a huge conflicting secret and duty.

And there's the promise. DEAN WILL NEVER KILL SAM. NOT IN A MILLION YEARS. Okay. Yes. Of course. Like duh. I do, however, love that little moment where Sam made him promise. He seemed so vulnerable, so dependent on his big brother. HOW CAN HE BE EVIL??

But anyone realize the similarities between John and Sam? We've long established that for Sam, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, like so in Dead's Man Blood. Now Sam is asking of Dean what John asked of Sam in Devil's Trap, to do the right thing, to kill him. Always the ones willing to give up their lives. Sam couldn't do it. What makes him think his big brother can do it? *sighs*

And being a Dean-girl, of course I would have to talk about how Dean never had a home and reach into SPN Land and give him a great big hug and then proceed to molest him. Seriously. I could pep talk him though. Dean, a home doesn't matter. You have a family. You have a brother who loves you enough to trust you to kill him. You have everything you ever need. But then again, I guess he already knows that. He never seemed upset about not ever settling down anywhere. His only emotional attachment is to people, family, to be exact. He doesn't need a home.

Sorry for the senseless ramblings. I'm really feeling weird today. Guh. My downloads for Smallville, Grey's Anatomy, The OC and Scrubs are all not working out. Means you guys will get icons of Playthings soon.
