Yes, it's that song in Chuck where Morgan quits the Buy More, strips of his shirt, and tries to carry Anna out of the store. (See! How is that show not worthy of a third season!) Malbec has a bit of a pop, electronic, hip-hop, rock sound to them. Yeah, it's a mesh of everything. It seems like they're still experimenting around with their style, but it's good music all around. They just released a string of EPs over the past months, a set of 5 Answering Machine EPs, one per month. A weird little concept thing, I suppose. I haven't had the time to listen to all 5 EPs yet, but I'm liking what I heard so far. They're good to listen to on a lazy afternoon.

And yes, I'm cheating since I'm technically not uploading anything for you. Well.

Project reports, presentations, and to add to that, examinations start next Tuesday. So you would think I have absolutely no time to do stupid things.

one; New layout! I love it so much. I know the links list looks bad in IE, but I'm kinda lazy to fix it. But hey, 500 Days of Summer banner! I didn't know it was possible to fall in love with a movie just by watching a trailer.

two; Waiting for reunion dinner to start (And no, I'm not helping my mom to prepare the food because I'm lazy, but mainly because I would be more of an hindrance anyway). Thought I would post an album I've been meaning to for a while.

So everyone knows Snow Patrol and its frontman Gary Lightbody. But did you know he put together a Broken Social Scene-esque music supergroup? Yup, The Reindeer Section. It's undeniably Gary Lightbody right there, with his gorgeous voice and melancholy lyrics. He describes the group's sound as "pretty much all very slow, quiet, folky-type stuff", and it's exactly so. While Snow Patrol tends towards the pop rock genre, The Reindeer Section is quieter and prettier. Nevertheless, if you're a fan of Snow Patrol, particularly of their older stuff, you'll like this.



To all who celebrate it, Happy Chinese New Year! To the rest of my flist, how are you guys? ♥

I'm really supposed to sleep, since I have a class at 8.30am tomorrow, but, oh well. So anyway, I hated Boys Over Flowers so much in the beginning. Jan Di was all kinds of annoying, and I was so biased towards Inoue Mao's Makino and MatsuJun's Domyouji. But now? It's so easy to love it once I disassociate it with Hanadan and see it as a separate entity. Oh Goo Jun Pyo ~

Also, I'm so in love with Ee Jung/Ga Eul. They're too adorable. Oh Kim Bum, why you so pretty.
